Admire up to seven shades of blue that go from an electric blue to a turquoise green. This combination is perfect for anyone wanting to combine Maya ruins with a little adventure and water activities. The Chacchoben Extreme Tour includes the Chacchoben Ruins Tour plus a visit to the Seven Color Lagoon (Bacalar Lagoon) on the edge Sian Kan Biosphere Preserve. The location is perfect for swimming in the refreshing waters of the Seven Color Lagoon, kayaking or just to relax enjoying the view and the breeze sipping a cold Margarita under the shade of a cabana. Tour meeting point: Four blocks outside Costa Maya Port. Once reservation is confirmed, easy to follow directions and a map will be emailed to you Meeting point: Your tour departs one hour after your cruise arrives in port from Plaza Las Fuentes, just a short walk from the Costa Maya Port. A visit to Bacalar Lagoon Resort for swimming and kayaking at the Seven Color Lagoon. Lunch and drinks (beer, sodas, tequila, margaritas). NOT INCLUDED: Gratuities for guide and/or driver. RESTRICTIONS: There’s a $5.00USD copyright fee for the use or video cameras at Chacchoben ruins, this fee not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the site’s entrance. This fee applies only for video cameras (Camcorders, GoPro, etc) there’s no fee for the use of digital photo cameras and cell phones even if they can take video. Tripods and drones aren’t allowed at Chacchoben ruins. Weight limit for a single kayak is 220 pounds or 270 pounds for a double kayak. Life vests are mandatory. Children must be 10 years old to kayak alone, younger children can kayak with an adult. CANCELLATION POLICY: One week before the tour. An administrative fee of $15 USD per person is non-refundable. No-Shows or late arrivals are non-refundable. Your deposit payment received and administrative fees for this reservation are fully refundable if for any reason your cruise ship does not call port. RECOMMENDATIONS: Wear comfortable walking or tennis shoes, light clothing, sunblock. Bring your own towel. Bring extra cash for minor expenses. DAYS OF OPERATION: Daily DEPARTURE TIMES: For cruise ship guests, one hour after ship’s arrival time. Arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the departure time to allow enough time for your check-in and to meet your guide. This tour must depart right on time.
